3.0 out of 5 stars A hobbyist's circuit's book, September 23, 2011
The Electronics for Dummy is essentially a hobbyist's circuit book. It teaches the basics... components, Ohm's Law, timers, filters, etc. But it really is written for the very beginner who wants to tinker around with a few circuits. Not terrible, just not really enough to do anything useful.

5.0 out of 5 stars Clear and useful, December 2, 2011
Amazon Verified Purchase(What's this?)
This review is from: Electronics For Dummies (Paperback)
I was surprised by how helpful I found this book. It presents the basic theory very clearly, and has what appear to be useful guidelines for those who want to get down and dirty with a few actual projects. (I'm not currently in that camp myself, having a more theoretical interest, but I still found those chapters interesting.)
