This mirror is very nicely made but I don't believe that it's magnifying is 7 x's.
The one I had was 7 x's and you could see every pore on your face. This one was probably equal to 5 x's which was not strong enough for me. I had to return it. I found one in a local store that is much better and was less expensive.

What a deal! After looking for wall mounted make-up mirror at other stores I came to amazon looking for the best deal and I found this mirror. Better yet it is easy to install. Unlike the previous reviewer though, I feel that the mirror is actually 7x because I have a 5x already and this is much stronger. I gave this as a gift to my mother and now I'm thinking of one for myself since it ended up being better that expected.
