Good live recording,

This is a live recording of the "The power to believe" tour in Japan in 2003. The performance is very good, and the sound recording is also very good. I have the normal (european) recording, and I bought this japanese edition because in some photographs of the backcover it was catalogued as an HDCD recording. The disc is NOT HDCD encoded though maybe it sounds marginally better. It is not the fault of amazon or the sellers, since they do not advertise it like an HDCD recording. It is the fault of the japanese company that advertise it incorrectly in the back cover. Many other king Crimson recordings are HDCD, and with the proper cd player it is an evident improvement in the sound.
You can find also this songs in the double DVD "eyes wide open". The DVD has more songs in fact of the Live in Japan tour (2003) and moreover has a second show of the year 2000.

If you want to keep up with the capabilities of the guitar/bass/drum combination, then just try to keep up with Fripp and King Crimson. No boom-chicka-boom here.....
