An Odd Little Book,
By Me2Big (Seattle,WA, USA) - See all my reviews
This review is from: Elementary BASIC: As Chronicled by John H. Watson (Paperback)
This book would be of interest to both collectors of SherlockHolmes pastiches and of early computer programming books, because it actually combines a Sherlock Holmes mystery with learning the old BASIC language (circa 1982). This kind of book, like the old IBM mainframe manuals and other books about "old" computer languages, like ADA, are becoming fun to read again, or collect. Actually a helpful little book on how to read and write BASIC computer code combined with a Sherlock Holmes pastiche written by the authors, "illustrated" with data charts |
