I found that this book did not give very detailed explanations of the concepts and formulas. I often found it frustrating, particularly since, as a distance learner, I could not raise my hand and ask the instructor. This is a required textbook, but I found it to be rather lacking.

This book has help me in so many ways. It also gives a clear understanding to what's being taught in the class. "It even helps answer discussion questions.

I think it's well laid out and gives plenty of examples and problems to refer to.

This book shares 1 to 8 examples in each chapter with you to assure you that a problem will never be missed.

i found this textbook to be missing many steps towerds finding the answers. i recommend that those who purchase this book not look forward to a full extensive complet tutorial, and turn towerds a privet tutor that each university of phoenix provides. but none the less this book is a requirment and a must have to complete the assigments givin to you by your instructor.

i had no problem learning from book........the examples they had before the exercises was very helpful
