This review is from: Elementary Japanese Teacher's Guide (Tuttle Language Library) (Hardcover)
If you own the two student volumes, this is a must have. While the two textbooks themselves are quite good, there is no answer key to check your work. That is what makes this one a must buy.

This is the Type of book you are used to use throughout school... the same familiar format, which was obviously reproduced thinking in its occidental users...
the content is very good, and the CD accompanying is perfect to achieve a good level both writing and orally for the self study students. i totally recommend, specially if you are just beginning or you have a basic level, this is a must in your library!!! XD

you must learn the basics of hiragana and katakana and also kanji in order to read this since it is all written in japanese answers but a good addition to both volumes if you're self studying I would advise to learn the basics of all three writings before getting this book
