Good covering of basics
Book does a very good job of covering all the basics and has illustrations for the movements.

Very basic, but well put together
This book is simply two forms: one for the straight sword, and one for the Chinese broadsword. Without any pretense, this book dives first into the straight sword (jin) form, then immediately goes into the broadsword (dao) form. Normally that would constitute very little, but the illustrations are excellent and arrows make understanding the movements very easy.

This is an outstandingly well done yet simple book, that absolutly delivers what it promises. Two sword forms (katas), one for broadsword and one for Tai Chi sword. Simply written and illustrated, people from any style or no style can learn from this book.
