An essential classic,
By
This review is from: Elements of Graph Design (Paperback)
This is a phenomenal book on designing graphs so they can be understood. It is clearly written, well reasoned, and full of very practical advice and good examples. There is nothing else like it. If you need to create effective, accurate graphs, and read just one book, this is the one.
Note that this book has been re-released as Graph Design for the Eye and Mind.

Very Handy To Have Around,

This review is from: Elements of Graph Design (Paperback)
This book can be handy to have around for when you are deciding what kind of graph to use where. It has dos and don't s which can help you learn what not to do when representing your information. It might help tip things in your favor when it comes down to the big sale or a presentation that helps you get kudos from the boss. And also help you not mess things up.
