This review is from: The Elements of News Writing (Paperback)
I have been teaching journalism for 35 years and this is the best textbook I have used. The author doesn't just talk about good writing, he does it, and my students don't resent being assigned a few chapters for every class period as the chapters are short, interesting, full of information and fun to read. It has no pictures, but the students appreciate the fact that it costs half as much as texts with pictures.
