I heard one of the tracks on a radio station (I think it was fire at that time)
that or the review the guys on the radio station gave it got me interested.

Basically the album is five tracks, four being the elements the album is named after being fire, wind, water and earth and a fifth track on the end called Quinta Essentia.

I found that the tracks were all quite long, which I am usually biased towards liking if the music is good. There was plenty of varation throughout even the individual tracks to keep me interested, All in all a very cool album from a band I had
previously never known of. Now I have to go looking at their older stuff to see if that too is up my alley

Having not heard the first Speaking To Stones CD mostly because of hearing a drum machine was used on it I really wasn't prepared for this CD...I read a lot of hype about it...with Mark Zonder (Fates Warning) on real drums and Andy Engberg (x-Lions Share) on vocals who I've always liked I tried the CD out...All I can say is wow what a great job these guys have done...the songs are all epic in quality and have some stellar playing in them...the guitar work is great...the production is excellent...it's just a killer album...if I had to use a word to describe this disc it would be classy...like the other reviewer said fans of Vanden Plas, Pagan's Mind and Symphony X will eat this up...highly recommended.

Going to have to pick up the first album now and check it out...if it's half as good as this one it'll be worth owning.

The first Speaking to Stones album is a great prog metal album. I recommend it to anyone who likes prog metal. That being said, the new Speaking to Stones is spectacular. Tony Vinci has upped the ante in every area. The addition of keyboard player Anthony Brown is the biggest difference from the first album. He has co-wrote Elements and done an excellent job. When I noticed that the previous singer Richard Fink IV was not involved I was a bit sad as his voice was one of the things I liked most about album 1, but Andy Engberg kills on this album. For me this is the prog metal album of 2012. If you like Symphony X, Vanden Plas, that sort of stuff you must get this!!!
