Bob is the founding and Lead Pastor of Calvary Fellowship in Miami Lakes, FL (www.calvarywired.com). Starting with only 5 people in the year 2000, today over 1,000 people call Calvary Fellowship home. Prior to planting Calvary Fellowship, Bob served as an assistant pastor at Calvary Chapel Fort Lauderdale, one of the 10 largest churches in the U.S. His primary role was as dean of Calvary Chapel Bible College, where he trained future Pastors, ministry leaders, and church planters. Bob is also the author of Elements: Starting a Revolution in your World, Watermark: An Explanation of Baptism and Zero to Sixty: 60 Principles and Practices for Leading a Growing Church.

Most importantly, Bob considers his greatest achievement as being married to his "just out of high school" sweetheart, Carey, for the last 12 years. Together, they have a beautiful daughter, Mia Grace and a son, Alexander.

I just finished this book by Bob Franquiz. Very enjoyable and readable writing style! I loved the rawness and frankness of the subjects addressed as well. I love John the Baptist, but I don't know of too many books that revolve around him. It was cool to see a book that really exegeted his life and legacy!

I highly recommend this book.

I loved this book! Bob has written a great little book to stir up your spiritual passion! It's written in such a way where Bob doesn't come across as a spiritual Yoda that we can't relate to, but a down to earth guy seeking to follow Jesus in the real world.

If you are looking for a good read to stir you up, look no further!

I picked up this book and immediately began getting sucked in after Chapter 1. Bob's writing style is simplistic and very humorous. The book was not only a description of the life of John the Baptist but explains how YOU can become the John the Baptist by starting your own "revolution" in daily life. If you are looking for a change your current mind set and a life style lift (or uplift!) read this book. Very inspiring!
