Toomai is especially bonded with one called Kala Nag, who has been his only friend since the adolescent's father's untimely death. When Kala Nag is sold despite Toomai's pleadings, the boy sets out to find him. Based on Rudyard Kipling's Toomai, of the Elephants. Not as good as the book, and somewhat tattered with age, but it's still a good movie.
