Best Album of 2010,
By Brian Wilson "Brian" (Indiana) - See all my reviews

Heard this band for the first time on NPR recently. Unbelievably original, melodically beautiful, and songs that can come straight from the heart. The music is a mix of 60's American and British folk/pop sensibilities combined with folk Indian influences from the 50's and 60's. After researching the band, I realized that they've played with Death Cab for Cutie and Feist, two other bands I love. This album is stunningly beautiful, rich in its production and brilliant in its songwriting. The lead singer/song writer Sidhartha's voice is beautiful and his songs speak to my heart. My favorite new band. You all must get this album if you haven't already.

This band needs to be recognized more. I first heard their song Rewind on How I Met Your Mother and fell in love with them. I now have both CD's and can't wait for more. They're just as good as Young the Giant and all of the other top Indie bands right now like Foster the People.
