Such beautiful, peaceful music.

The music is so easy to listen to, whether you're paying attention or just like some restfull vibes playing in the background.

I Love this band. The track "Curach" is by far my favorite track, but this is a unique blend of styles & temperments. The album is a little uneven, but there is real depth here, & I am looking foreward to their next album.

I'm fairly new to Elephant Revival, but bought 3 albums the day after seeing them in concert. The music is incredible, and each of the musicians individually is WICKED talented. Put it all together, and they are simply one of the most outstanding musical groups I've heard in years. Do yourself a favor, and check them out!

I love elephant revival and this album is probably my favorite. It is the perfect music to sit and listen to, cook with, have playing in the background. Feels wholesome and you can tell the band loves doing what they are doing. Don't hesitate to buy.

Good art folk with some chill vibes and orchestral earthy sounds. This is the best of their cds in my opinion

Exceeded my expectations. My daughter recommended this group. She had seen them perform in Madison, WI a couple of times. Very, very nice music

The most interested and excited I have been about a group in a long time!
I mostly listen to instrumental music (jazz, classical, rock)because I can listen to it repeatedly without getting tired - following different instruments, in different moods. Most vocal music has a set meaning/mood so even if I like it, I tire of listening after a few times in a short period of time. But, these folks are such amazing musicians!!! They make each song much more complex and interesting than so much of what is out there. I find myself listening over and over, picking out new little bits here and there or re-experiencing a wonderful little fiddle solo or banjo or guitar. Especially worth many listens is the playing of Bridget Law on violin - many of her solos never fail to give me chills (so Sweet!).
And with four different voices, there is a lot of variety of style and mood. I have to say though, that I am completely in love with Bonnie Paine's vocalizing and song writing! "Currach" was the first song I latched onto. Such a haunting mood and story sung with one of the most interesting voices I have heard in a very long time. "Ring Around the Moon" is also great with very effective solo from Bridget's violin and Sage's banjo and about the best lyrics on Fall leaves I ever heard - just beautiful!! More recently I have been listening to "Every Stone" a lot - written by Dango, the bass player. I love bass anyway and having just the bass accompanying Bonnie singing in another slightly different style makes it another very haunting and effective piece.
"Sing to the Mountain" and "Piper's Sun" have the whole group singing together, something they don't do as much on later albums. Nice blend.
