A Great Musical Mix, June 27, 2000
This review is from: Elephant (Audio CD)
Watching Sharon, Lois & Bram can sometimes be a bit...well, a bit TOO precious. But musicall this trio is tops on my list of kid music. Why? First, they use a back-up band of real live musicians-- no cheesy synthesized tracks. Second, they use an unparalleled eclectic selection of material. Obscure pop, broadway, folks tunes, world beat-- there isn't a single genre of music that a kid won't be exposed to after listening to these guys.
Real music, musically produced and presented-- none of the cheesy watered-down kiddy stuff that some produce-- and yet lots and lots of fun and my kids would listen to this record (and all the rest) for hours and hours on end.

I remember watching the Elephant Show when i was a little kid, and now my 16-month-old daughter loves it! It is a great program for her to watch, there are no bad words, no violence and no talking sponges. I have two videos, the "Live in Your Living Room" and "Who Stole the Cookies?" and my daughter will stare for ever watching these movies. ...I love these movies! I reccomend them to any parent or grandparent for their lovely kiddies
