The frenetic pace of this CD is not for the faint of heart. I love all of the songs on here. I've never been able to see Daniela live, but I'd love to. Her raspy vocal delivery is what makes sets her apart from the rest. She proves that you can sing well and come out with danceable music. I also love that she is a songwriter. She is very proud of her heritage and that is so refreshing to hear in an artist. Her description of events, places she's been and where she is from is very lush and picturesque. If you know Spanish or Portuguese, Eléctrica would make for a more enjoyable audio experience. This is one of the best live albums that I own. Take Eléctrica home with you and you'll see what I mean.

DM rocks. This is a great CD. It's still my favorite, even after wearing it out for the past year and a half. The musical heritage and infectious enthusiasm of Brasilieros is prominently on display on this record. This is great party music - even more exciting than a Ronaldo World Cup gol! It's also a great way to help learn the language. I'd recommend most of her stuff, but this is my favorite CD. In any language. Que bom!

Concert promoters in the USA, you are missing the boat bigtime with Daniela Mercury.

She has all the explosive energy like Ricky Martin and smoothness of Sade. Her live concerts should ignite the USA. BUY THIS CD GUYS!!

A Must Have for all who love Daniela, Axe and Samba. Couldn't wait to hear this CD. It's everything you expect from Ms. Mercury and then some. You won't be able to put this one down. Enjoy!

Maravilha! What else can I say. Daniela Mercury has once again gone all out with this live cd. Mixing old favorites with new songs that are sure to become favorites, she keeps you on your feet from the first drum to the last chants of the crowd. The cd was taped in Salvador which makes it that much more exciting. You can feel the energy as your sing along. A beautiful mixture of Axé, pop, rock, samba, and bossa nova. A treat to all fans of Brasil.

Wow. This is a fantastic CD. I'm always amazed at the amount of energy that Brazilians have -- performers and audiences alike -- and this live CD easily captures both. (I went to more than a few shows in Salvador where the main act went on -- full steam -- for 3+ hours!) I love Daniela's studio albums, but this live version has so much energy and "paixao" that it becomes all that much more exciting to listen to. If you have any interest at all in Brazilian music, this is a must-have.

She can make the room dance non stop, Daniela Mercury is really a wonderful singer.

This gets my vote for the most exciting and entertaining live CD in my music collection. I became an instant Daniela Mercury fan upon hearing it. Listening to this performance makes me feel like I'm at the show, so I can only imagine how fun it would be to actually see her in concert. All of the songs are great with very catchy beats and rhythms. I love it.

just get it. Amazing record! Full of life and energy and amazing songs. Incredible band backing her up too.

This CD is a must for anyone who likes to dance. Brazilian axé music is real dance music and Daniela is the best. There is nobody with the voice, energy and emotion like her. What passes off for dance music in the USA is just electronic blather. Buy this CD. Buy any and all CDs by Daniela for that matter. You will not stop dancing.
