5.0 out of 5 stars A great read!, January 17, 2002

This review is from: Elfen Gold (Paperback)
I was hooked on fantasy novels years ago when I first read The Hobbit. Elfen Gold has that same magical ability to draw the reader into a wonderful world that combines engaging characters with strange and marvelous events. You know it's a good book if you don't want to put it down, and this book will pass that test! You'll love Michall and Ra-May, and you'll be cheering for them as they journey on their quest.

5.0 out of 5 stars Highly recommended!, July 2, 2002

This review is from: Elfen Gold (Paperback)
In the elfen city of Ra-Jee, Princess Ra-May is born. Ra-Nu, the captain of the guards, is assigned to protect her. Her evil uncle, Del-a-Shar, comes and destroys Ra-Jee. But Ra-Nu escapes with Ra-May.

In another part of the world Michall, a human (or so he thought), is having dreams about a mystical place, Ra-Jee, and the horror it suffers. When these two meet, sparks fly and together they set out to save Ra-Jee. All they needed was a little help from a few elfen friends.

***** This one is like two stories in one! The author kept me in suspense until the end and then hit me with the full effect once all was revealed. The characters are excellent and will not be forgotten quickly. Great story! I gladly recommend it! *****

As a long-time lover of fantasy I found this book to be absolutely delightful and charming. All the characters were enchanting and believable and the story was very engrossing and fun. I only regret that I cannot meet the elves in person. I am looking forward to more stories from this author.
