Item works great with my iMac. I watch cable in my room all the time and have never had a problem. Pluss is works great with the mac remote. The only thing is that the software that came with it had an out of date key code, but because of that they let you buy it for half off. This only makes the software $10. I think it is worth it. Plus the recording and scheduled recording feature is awesome.

1st of all the shipping from ANTonline was super fast. I received this product in 2 days after ordering it. superb vendor.
Installled this USB tuner to my 24" IMac and it recognized my satellite receiver immediately. I had a few problems setting it up most of which were related to my other USB devices and the kind of USB hub that I am using. once I got the tuner setup complete, it works like a charm. The Tube software is not the best, the Media Central gets installed along with The Tube by default and does not come with a license. If you uninstall the media central, USB does not recognize the satellite receiver which means that they force you to pay for Media Central software even though its a piece if crap. besides you dont need a Media cental software when you have a native Mac application like Front Row. I installed EyeTv by elgato and its more powerful than The Tube. Overall this tuner is a great alternative to a Television set at a very affordable price. My IMac not only serves me as my personal desktop computer, I use it as a media center to watch movies with Front Row and now I can watch TV too.

Quite satisfied with TvMicro,

We're redoing an office/den in our vacation home and needed a new TV (seldom used in this room). Space is at a bit of a premium so didn't want more than 26". Unexpectedly ended up buying a new Mac computer with a 20" screen, and was pleased to find out that there is a way to get TV through the computer. Took a chance on the TvMicro and we're quite pleased with the result. It will never rival a good HDTV, but for our purposes it's absolutely fine. Miglia TVMicroFor about $50 we've accomplished our goal and saved a lot of space. Easy to install, and it even has a remote control. The transaction with ANTONLINE went very well.

I purchased the Miglia TVMicro a month ago. The software used to operate the device is 3rd party and requires a code for activation. I entered the code provided to me, and received a message stating my code is invalid/out of date. I have contacted Miglia by email (there is no phone number available to call) several times to get a valid activation code, and no response whatsoever. My only options without a code is to return the TVMicro or buy a new license for the software at $40.00.

For $50 this is a great option to buying another TV. Miglia technical support was very helpful in working out an issue. This isn't HDTV and isn't meant to be, but is it portable, affordable and flexible. I'm using it on my MacBook laptop, but will put it on the desktop Apple computer in our home office/guest room whenever we have guests visit. I'll also take it with me to the in-laws to watch what I want to watch on my laptop in the privacy of our room.
I do recommend this product to anyone with an Apple who wants/needs an extra TV without having to purchase one. One additional thing, I like that it works with Tiger/Leopard's Front Row software and lets me use the Apple remote to change channels, adjust volume, pause live TV, and change the view.

This USB Tuner does exactly what it should do and does it well. Switching channels is very, very fast. Although it does run quite hot, it hasn't been a problem.
Combined with EyeTV 3, this is the best PVR solution I could find for such a price.

TV on a Mac in an RV,
By
This review is from: Miglia TV Micro Express (Personal Computers)
I was being charged for cable tv at an rv park in Vegas even tho I didn't have a tv so I ordered this micro express (that I had wanted for a long time anyway). It was cheaper on Amazon than anywhere else and they ship so fast I got it half way through the week I had booked there. I think I improved the reception as well by purchasing new HD digital coaxial cable at Wal-Mart. I don't know what it would have been like with regular coaxial but perfect video with this new cable. Unfortunately I havn't had cable at any other rv park since.
