My name is Nina Marie Duran. I am 24 years old and I have a 3 year old son named Elijah. I grew up in San Antonio, Texas and I have lived here the majority of my life. Ever since I was a little girl, my passion has always been writing. My parents own a very successful] bilingual newspaper called La Prensa de San Antonio and I have been an avid writer for over 8 years. I graduated from the University of Incarnate Word with my BA and MA in communication arts. I've held many internships, one with the San Antonio Spurs and another with KENS 5 News. After completing my internships, I was an associate producer for a local morning show Good Day San Antonio. While there I wrote segments and also freelanced for other local magazines. My entire life is writing.
