Product Description

Breathable cotton blend fabric surrounds the nursing mother in sturdy all day support with easy to use drop cups. The hook and eye closure of the drop cups gives added support to the nursing frame of the Elila 2-ply Cotton Support Nursing Softcup Bra 1613. The three-part cup construction helps shape you while the added full sling support holds you. Available in either black, white, and nude, the deceptively simple looking design is actually made to evenly distribute the weight of your bust so that you get superior support without an underwire.

This was my favorite nursing bra.

Even the bust band fits extremely well, without needing to stretch one bit (which is good, because this bra really does not stretch).

The fold down cups that allow for nursing did not fully cover my breasts when closed.

I had enough difficulty finding a supportive bra prior to my pregnancy. I started out as a D and things only went up from there... I was so pleased to find a nursing bra that offered excellent support WITHOUT an uncomfortable underwire. The wide elastic base strap hugs close to the body but the felting against my skin provides a soft grip. The hooks on the front of the breast panels offer secure comfort (no worries about accidental opening) but they are traditional hook/eye closures. Undoing them to nurse is easy but closing them 'one-handed' is a feat only for the most nimble. The nude color works well under most garments. Although not a lacy feminine bra, I do feel better about my appearance thanks to the lift and support this bra provides.

I have mixed feelings about this nursing bra. I have 44H size breasts right now, and this bra does provide decent support for a bra that is not under wire. I honestly didn't expect it to be as supportive as it is. I don't like the way the cups come open though. Rather than the whole cup coming down, your breast sticks out of a hole. All in all, that's not a problem, but when I close the cup back up after I'm done nursing, my breast sticks out of the top of the hole, and the side of the hole. It doesn't make for discreet nursing when you have to readjust your whole breast after you nurse. And no, it's not a size issue, because when I first put this bra on, it fits very good, and maybe even a tad bit roomy. I would not buy this bra again, because of that. It also sits very high on your chest, and I think that makes it feel a little bit restricting.

I've been nujrsing for 13.5 yrs nonstop (five kids; nursing until they're preschool aged) and my current nursing bras are about 5 yrs old and worn out. The brand I am currently wearing has been discontinued so for the past 2 months I've been ordering different brands/styles in the hopes of finding something that meets my VERY strict requirements. I'm a 32G so while not gigantic, my breasts are heavy for their size and I need lots of support. I don't like the girls to bounce (I let down easily so try to keep them locked & loaded securely) so if I can't do a little skip, hop & jump without bouncing, the bra goes back. This is the fifth brand/style I've tried and I am absolutely thrilled. While not steadfastly against them, I prefer bras without underwire so one huge pro is that this bra doesn't not have one. This bra is absolutely fabulous. The smaller cup sizes may have slightly different structure but this one truly has a full sling (meaning that the bra stays in place and the cup folds down so the bra still supports when unclasped during nursing). It makes getting things put back together easier because the breast just has to be covered up again, not put back into the bra, if that makes sense. This bra passed the bounce test with flying colours. The straps aren't too wide and have a good range of adjustment. There are four sets of hooks with four options for tightness. I always wear my new bras on the loosest hook and as the bra wears out, go to the tighter hooks to get the most use out of my bra. (I recommend this - if you try on a bra and the band fits on the tightest hook, go down a band size - which may require going up a cup size as the entire bra is smaller as you go down in band size - and wear it on the loosest setting.Read more ›

With the luxury of a specialty boutique in the neighborhood, I tried on many nursing bras. The support that this underwire-free bra provides is amazing! I felt better supported in it than in many of my pre-pregnancy bras with underwire. I also like how this bra holds you up so your chest isn't sagging, which can easily be a problem with a G-cup.

Compared to other bras that I tried, I think this style runs a little large. It's perfect if you seem between sizes in other styles.

Others have complained about it riding high and preventing you from wearing certain outfits. I don't believe a G-cup bra exists that can have enough support, keep uni-boob from developing during the day, and be low cut; I bought a special "dress-bra" for the V-neck dress when I needed it. Typical, "everyday" wear shirts look pretty nice with this bra underneath, as do dressier shirts without deep necklines; the bra can really provide a figure.

The bra has a large hole to nurse through, instead of the whole cup coming down. A large portion of your breasts comes through the hole; and, ultimately, I found that I had to readjust the bra to stuff my breast back in for the best fit. It was not hard for me to adjust to this. However, if you're picky or your baby is picky, you might have some trouble adjusting. When the breasts are held up by a supportive bra, they are in a different position. And the hole (vs the entire open cup) keeps the breasts in position. Depending on your nursing style, this type of cup opening could be more or less discrete.

Nursing bras are absolutely impossible to find locally in anything larger than a DD cup, but they are so expensive that the idea of buying one online, without trying it on, is less than ideal. However, I did a lot of research, read a lot of reviews, disregarded vanity, and decided on this one. No, it's not pretty, but it works. It's the first bra I've owned in a long time that is actually *my size,* because a person cannot just walk into a store and buy a 44H off the rack. I always end up settling for DD in the largest bust measurement (usually no larger than 40 or 42), or a 2XL in a sport bra. I did buy some nursing bras locally, but in these smaller sizes. They will do for down the road when my milk supply is well established, but I desperately needed something for the first few weeks that would not bind, squash, or lead to other issues like clogged ducts, mastitis, etc. It had to be comfortable against my sore skin and, of course, easy to nurse in. Most important, it had to actually fit, not just "work in a pinch." Otherwise, why bother spending the money? This serves all these purposes admirably. Because I noticed in the description that the fabric does not stretch, I ordered a cup size up to accommodate engorgement, and I'm glad I did. So the one I have is a 44I. However, the cup size is actually a bit adjustable by using the three different hook closures for the drop-down part of the cup, which would be sufficient adjustment for times like growth spurts when milk production goes up for a while.

Other pros: 1) I'm thrilled that, even with my long torso, I don't have to lengthen the straps to the very longest they can go and still not have them long enough, which is what happens with every other bra I have ever owned or tried on in my whole life.
