Great portable soft box
Top quality soft box. A little tricky to put together the first time but once you get it set you can keep most of it connected. Because it is not square or rectangular like most soft boxes it folds similar to an umbrella into a convenient carrying case. The supplied case is about 7 inches across and the length is about 22 inches. Takes less then 5 minutes to set up...

Great light, PAIN to put together
Putting this softbox together was awful. I got halfway through and just couldn't complete it. I read the directions over and over. I looked on-line, and everything said it was so easy. I didn't think so. Luckily, my husband was able to finish the assembly for me. But he concurred that I would not be able to assemble it by myself on location. It comes with a carrying case,...

The supplied case is about 7 inches across and the length is about 22 inches. Takes less then 5 minutes to set up and hook to my Elinchrom BX400 mono lights. Great soft light images. I use it for waste up portraits of individuals or up to 4 people group shots. You could probably do full body shots and a few more people in group shots but I haven't had the need for that. Highly recommended and well worth the price.

It comes with a carrying case, which I don't foresee using, ever.
So on a positive note. It is a well shaped softbox. I expect to use it in studio, but honestly, I prefer my Elinchrom EL 26158 74-Inch Octa Light Bank. It's much easier to assemble, and if I didn't want to light the whole subject, I could simply flag part of it off. |
