If you decide to buy a big screen TV, this is the product for you. It may not be solid wood (which would cost you a fortune), but it is built heavy-duty to handle your components! It's super strong! You will have to put it together when it arrives in an extremely heavy box.

Once it's together it's perfect! I looked at hundreds of TV stands for my 65" LCD and by far, this was the best on the market. Keep in mind that most TV stands DO NOT have a place for your center speaker and this is supremely important in a good surround sound system.

This TV stand has room UNDER the glass top for my DVD player, my cable box AND my center speaker. Don't expect to put a receiver under the glass because most are too tall to fit. The receiver will fit perfectly inside the cabinet which has adjustable shelves.

BUY IT NOW FOR ANY SIZE LCD OR PLASMA TV. IT HOLDS UP TO 200 LBS!!!!!!!!!!

I bought this stand to hold a 73" DLP rear projection as well as to house my home theater equipment. My Polk center channel *just* fits under the glass shelf (I had to put the center channel in before I put on the glass top) and I have my home theater components behind the glass doors.

To give it a cleaner look I tinted the class doors with 5% automobile tint film (the IR signal still passes through). For ventilation I put computer fans on the back.

All in all I am very happy with the stand however I was informed that it was solid wood by the sales rep before I purchased. It is not solid wood, rather a press board material with a melemine veneer. Had this unit been made out of solid wood I would have given it 5 stars.

Assembly was easy but it is helpful to have two people as this unit is HEAVY. TV has been residing on it for a few years now without issue. I really like that it has a fifth leg in the middle to prevent sagging.

The unit looks great, and has all the space I needed. I looked around town and no one carried a unit as good looking as this one. Special note however, I gave out my fax number as a contact number and delivery was delayed, because the freight company wanted to contact me first before delivering the credenza, this created some confusion, but all involved were helpful to fix the delivery.
