This is not a very good weight bench. The proportions seem all wrong. I am 5'11" tall and here is what I have experienced. The supports that hold the weight bar should either be closer together so that you can put your hands on the outside of the supports. Or farther apart so you can put your hands on the inside of the supports. And the bench seems overly high. When I am laying back on the bench my feet won't touch the floor. I put my feet on the cushion for the leg lift attachment. This feels very unnatural. And because the overall height of the bench is fairly tall, if I have a short guy there spotting me it's tough for him to stand behind me and really do a good job of lifting the bar up well to the top of the supports.
The bench does feel pretty sturdy. But that doesn't really matter if you can't use it well.
good bench for beginners. easy to assemble. the front pivot for the leg attachment is too low for someone taller. i cannot get all the way down before my feet are touching the floor. also this pivot is a small bolt which fits very sloppy in the hole. i drilled it out for a larger size to eliminate the slop. all in all not to bad for the price.
