Today, the team flies the McDonnell Douglas F/A-18 Hornet, which also serves as one of the Navy's frontline fighters. Since their beginnings, the Blue Angles have performed for over 322 million people. The six aviators, selected from the U.S. Navy and Marine Corps, and their support team of over 100 personnel are widely regarded as one of the finest formation aerobatic display teams in the world today.
