My uncle noticed he is saluting with left hand in the box and his gloved salute is left handed - this is wrong. Is this worth more $$ because of error mfg made.

Very nice figure. The review should be about the product shown and not about your feelings towards politics! BTW, HE WAS AN AVIATOR who performed Guard duty as an F-102 pilot through April 1972, logging a total of 336 flight hours and was promoted once during his service, to First Lieutenant, so get your facts straight! This is an A+ toy. Every detail was well thought out. Very collectible and will go up in price over time. Limited production. I paid $50 for it when pre-ordered before it was launched, now they go for around $100 if you can find one for sale.

I bought this doll online sight unseen pre-release and not expecting too much. I was very surprised to see the details and work that went into his flight suit, helmet, visor, etc. Intricate suit and the helmet is finished even on the inside - it feels soft and pliable like a leather lining! In fact I like it so much I'm buying a new unopened one on eBay and letting my three year-old son have the first one. He's a great conversation piece at work and everyone will want to stop by and pose him in some new contorted fashion. After all posing is what he does best, right???

Being a fervent Bushie - the name used by British fans of the leader of the free world - I was somewhat disappointed at the lack of historical accuracy.

I was after a representation of GWB in his prime, when he was single-handedly winning the Vietnam War by flying in drunken circles over Houston - this being a far braver and more difficult act than the simpler option of actually serving on the front line.

Still, I gave it 3-stars because at least it arrived in the post, unlike my earlier purchase of the GWB Drill and Medical Attendance model, 1972, which was an empty box.

While President George Bush was a Naval Aviator, George W. Bush never served as an Aviator. Don't lie to your children.

This doll works equally well as a conversation piece or voodoo implement.

The day GWB declared "mission accomplished" signifies the start of the REAL war after the invasion...the war against the insurgents. Life was about to get a whole lot worse for almost all Iraqis and the US military.

This is a wonderful likeness of George W. Bush, one of the greatest [if not THE greatest] presidents in the history of the United States.

This is described as an authentic military figure in the product description. How many wars did Bush fight in exactly? If I dressed up in a military uniform maybe they can make a figure of me. Apparently playing dress-up is all that is required for this particular company to render your likeness onto an "authentic" military figure. They should do one of that dude from the Village People while they are at it.
