I just happened to come across this small appliance at my local Fred Meyer in Alaska. For unknown reasons, it was on the clearance aisle. Freddy's retail price was $59.99 and the clearance price $14.99. I couldn't resist the temptation so not only bought one as a wedding gift, but one for me too. What I liked about the features is that either one or both crock pots can be used. I also liked the smaller size crock pot which is more convenient when cooking for one or two people, and won't take up a lot of space in a refrigerator. If you live a hectic lifestyle as I do, two different meals can be prepared at the same time for lunches or dinners throughout the work week.
