2.0 out of 5 stars They don't stay on, January 9, 2011

The soles are sturdy for going outside or into the garage but that's the only plus. Memory foam is useless unless it's at least an inch thick. About three seconds after putting them on the foam is crushed and my feet are sitting flat on the top of the outer sole. They have no back at all and the foam doesn't expand enough to hold them on so I find myself walking funny and curling my toes to keep them from falling off. For washing dishes or otherwise standing in one place they're better than nothing but not by much. For walking around they make my feet and my legs hurt.

5.0 out of 5 stars Cushions for your feet, July 4, 2010

I don't typically buy non-reviewed products, so as the first reviewer, I thought I'd take a chance. I'm pleased to report that I'm SO glad I made this purchase! These are the most comfortable slippers I've ever worn in my life. They conform to your feet as if they were custom made just for you. I originally thought the fabric they used on the upper portion might get too hot, but somehow they nailed this, too. These slippers are perfect.

One thing to look out for though...

When you put these slippers on and then stand up, your foot will sink into the memory foam. If you're not accustomed to this, they may give you a sensation of falling the first time you put them on (for this reason, if you're buying these for the elderly, I would recommend being right next to them as they stand up, on the first try). But, in just seconds, that feeling of sinking is immediately replaced by the glorious comfort of the memory foam conforming to the contours of your feet.

Without hesitation, 5 stars. This gets a "Mavis recommends".

1.0 out of 5 stars not recommended, July 23, 2011
This review is from: Elite Plush Memory Foam Slippers As Seen on TV
I bought these at a really reduced price and they felt great on in the store. I always wear house slippers inside and I've had these about 3 months and wear them a LOT. For what I paid and how much I've worn them, they've been worth it, but I wouldn't recommend them or purchase them again. At first these feel great, but quickly your feet leave permanent indents in the thick padding, which means they quickly become too loose... which is dangerous. I've actually fallen down the stairs and almost fallen several other times because I've gone down the stairs at my normal speed and slipped in these shoes. I'd hoped to have them a while longer than 3 months, but I'm already on the search to replace them with something better.
