5.0 out of 5 stars 100" of pure movie enjoyment!
Having researched projectors almost to death, I finally decided on a Panasonic PT-AX200U but had done very little research on screens. Well I found a great site for information projectorcentral.com, which had very good information, but was looking at spending $1k for a screen, but since I live in an apartment I was hesitant on it. Also, you must really do your homework...

Having researched projectors almost to death, I finally decided on a Panasonic PT-AX200U but had done very little research on screens. Well I found a great site for information projectorcentral.com, which had very good information, but was looking at spending $1k for a screen, but since I live in an apartment I was hesitant on it. Also, you must really do your homework with the screen size and throw distance, as my projector is 20 feet away from the screen.

So, searching around I stumbled into this screen, absolutely perfect for my needs, it is very portable and easy to set up. It was very well packaged when it arrived. There is a bit of "cupping" on both edges of the screen, with the room lights on and from the side you can see it, but I have not been able to notice any distortion with pictures projected to the screen. Also, the screen is a bit fussy rolling back into the carry case, the spring just does not have enough pull. Both of these are the only faults I can find so far, and even at that they are minor. As for brightness, which I was very concerned about with, the screen is bright white, and probably throws back ~1.0 of the light, so during the mid afternoon glare is a problem. I suppose I need curtains...

All in all, for the price, and for the size, this was an awesome find! I could not be happier.

5.0 out of 5 stars Super-easy to set up, with super "WOW" factor!, March 14, 2009
After battling with a 120-inch tripod screen, my family decided to give this EZ Cinema screen a try. Let's just say the tripod battles are over! We do plan to move things around our family room in the future, so we definitely wanted a portable-style screen in the first place.

We simply can't say enough about this item - the screen set-up time is right around 30 seconds flat. Seriously. The black "bottom" is made of very sturdy aluminum-type material, and we simply leave the "bar" sitting on the floor at all times. The two little "feet" swing out for more support, four suitcase-style snaps are opened, two support bars are easily inserted into the back base area, and you pull the screen up. That's all there is to it! Now we have awesome 150-inch images in our family room with ultimate ease.

Though made by the same company, we think this 150-inch screen has a better image than the tripod one did. HD is amazing, but even SD images or DVDs from our projector are breathtaking. Couple that with the ultra-easy set-up (and take-down), and we're happy campers! Bravo, Elite Screens!

P.S. Just keep in mind the measurements for this item - it's a LOOOOOOONG piece of equipment! We actually brought it in through a family room window, as it was far too long for swinging around doorways and such in our house.

5.0 out of 5 stars Great Portable Screen, November 6, 2006
This screen is great. It's very lightweight and functional. When my office needs a screen at one of the off sites we just grab this one, throw it in the car, drive over, pop it up, and go. Our old screen never gets used anymore. It's so bulky and can't compare to just how easy this one is to use.

Pros

Easy to setup and take down.

Very stable.

Bottom screen pull-up.

Cons

Latches will not close or stay closed on the screen, which limits storage options.

Can be hard for one person to maneuver around tight places.

I bought this screen to do presentations with a projector that projects at a 3:4 aspect ratio. When it arrived, I took it out of its packaging and saw that the screen came with a carry case that had a strap on it as well. The carry case is pretty easy to take off and put on the screen and it protects the screen well.

I then immediately set up the screen to see how it worked and everything went fine. It's very easy and intuitive to use. There are two legs on the bottom of the screen that swing out to keep the screen stable when it is raised.

When I finished testing out the screen and was ready to put it away, one of the latches on the screen case didn't work. About a month later, both fail to work, rendering the handle on the hard case useless.

I recently had to take the screen to an office that had very tight hallways and multiple flights of stairs. I had no problem carrying the screen, but I was worried I would hit something because of the size of the screen and the rigidity of the case. For most people, it may take two to carry the screen around.

Overall, I am glad I got this type of screen and not one that uses a tripod.

5.0 out of 5 stars Excellent screen for our purposes!, November 25, 2011
Amazon Verified Purchase(What's this?)
We were looking for a screen to use for business presentations in small rooms. We needed something that could be transported easily and that would be fast to set up - especially if we had only one person there, not a whole team. This screen works really well for our purposes. It's light in weight, it can be set up quickly and easily, and taken down just as quickly. It showed images perfectly well when we used our Dell LCD projector. Much easier to manage than a screen with tripod style legs, which is what we had before.

This size screen would also work well in a small family room. It's not very large, but that's the trade-off is you want something light and portable.

5.0 out of 5 stars Simple, effective, November 17, 2011
Amazon Verified Purchase(What's this?)
I was looking for a pull up screen, large format. I also considered screens that use an x-frame. This model has a simple rod which you set up and then you pull up the screen and hook it on the rod. It's a simple mechanism but once you have the rod set to the length you want, there's no need to repeat the process. Setting up the screen is a 30 second job, and putting it away 60 seconds. As noted in some other reviews, when the screen is pulled open the frame to which the handle is attached visibly pulls away from the horizontal rod at the top of the screen. But this doesn't appear to be a problem. Overall the screen works well, is reliable, and is very easy to get up and down.

Low Cost, Great Quality!

I'm using Elite Screens EZ Cinea 100inch with HD(1080) LCOS home projector. Easy to set up, compact case with storage bag. I'm enjoying home theater every weekend with my family. MAx White screen material is sufficient quality for HD home theater purpose. It's better than conventional business projector screen. Value for money product!

This review is from: Elite Screens EZ Cinema Floor Pull Up Projection Screen, 16:9 Aspect Ratio-135in. (Max White) (Electronics)
This thing is simply amazing. While gigantic, you'll be surprised how easy it is to roll up it is into it's container and hide away as needed.

4.0 out of 5 stars Great product!, January 27, 2011

Reviewed lots before making the purchase. Spent more than I intended but was convinced it was worth the extra. Like it for its portability, weight is manageable - only thing I would ask about is why the top bar when the screen is up pulls so much - there is an actual gap in the middle. Checked with a friend who has the same make but smaller and it is the same. Doesn't impact the screen so will live with it. Overall very pleased.

5.0 out of 5 stars Nice product, November 29, 2010

It's well made and works as you would expect. The only issue I have is the feet could be a little bigger and more sturdy. I opted for the bigger unit so it's not quite as portable but it's okay for road trips.
