Having researched projectors almost to death, I finally decided on a Panasonic PT-AX200U but had done very little research on screens. Well I found a great site for information projectorcentral.com, which had very good information, but was looking at spending $1k for a screen, but since I live in an apartment I was hesitant on it. Also, you must really do your homework with the screen size and throw distance, as my projector is 20 feet away from the screen.

So, searching around I stumbled into this screen, absolutely perfect for my needs, it is very portable and easy to set up. It was very well packaged when it arrived. There is a bit of "cupping" on both edges of the screen, with the room lights on and from the side you can see it, but I have not been able to notice any distortion with pictures projected to the screen. Also, the screen is a bit fussy rolling back into the carry case, the spring just does not have enough pull. Both of these are the only faults I can find so far, and even at that they are minor. As for brightness, which I was very concerned about with, the screen is bright white, and probably throws back ~1.0 of the light, so during the mid afternoon glare is a problem. I suppose I need curtains...

All in all, for the price, and for the size, this was an awesome find! I could not be happier.

After battling with a 120-inch tripod screen, my family decided to give this EZ Cinema screen a try. Let's just say the tripod battles are over! We do plan to move things around our family room in the future, so we definitely wanted a portable-style screen in the first place.

We simply can't say enough about this item - the screen set-up time is right around 30 seconds flat. Seriously. The black "bottom" is made of very sturdy aluminum-type material, and we simply leave the "bar" sitting on the floor at all times. The two little "feet" swing out for more support, four suitcase-style snaps are opened, two support bars are easily inserted into the back base area, and you pull the screen up. That's all there is to it! Now we have awesome 150-inch images in our family room with ultimate ease.

Though made by the same company, we think this 150-inch screen has a better image than the tripod one did. HD is amazing, but even SD images or DVDs from our projector are breathtaking. Couple that with the ultra-easy set-up (and take-down), and we're happy campers! Bravo, Elite Screens!

P.S. Just keep in mind the measurements for this item - it's a LOOOOOOONG piece of equipment! We actually brought it in through a family room window, as it was far too long for swinging around doorways and such in our house.

As a wedding cinematographer, one of the most popular concepts in wedding films in the past few years has been the Same Day Edit - where you film the pre-ceremony and ceremony and edit together a short film of the day to show to guests at the wedding reception. Rather than relying on the bride and groom to provide a projector or screen I purchased this Elite Screens 80 inch screen. It is portable and looks extremely professional when setup. Even better, the projected image (that's what really matters) looks great on it! It is MUCH BETTER than projecting onto a wall. I originally wanted to 100 inch screen but it would not fit in my car so I had to go with the 80 inch. Even with that, it still sticks through my trunk into my backseat and between the driver and passenger seats. Be aware that the case is larger than the screen when fitting it for your car.

For something so large, setup could not be easier! One person can have it setup in less than a minute. It comes in nice yet cheaply made bag (more on that later) and is folded in on itself with a metal casing and handle. It's not too heavy but you must be aware of where you are walking when carrying it because you will no doubt hit someone or a wall if you don't. Once the metal snaps are undone you simply place the aluminum rod in its vertical holder and slide up the screen.

The 16:9 aspect ratio fits my 1080p wedding videos perfectly. If youre projector isn't HD you should look at getting a 4:3 or 1:1 screen instead.

Now about the bag... The screen comes in a black canvas fitted bag that has quite possibly the cheapest zippers I've ever seen. Upon first unzipping one snapped off in my hand.

We use this screen for slideshows at events (weddings, sweet 16's, etc.). When we set it up, it looks massive and is very impressive even for a large crowd.
OK Pros: Easy setup (like about 3 minutes tops), Professional appearance, Sturdy, Self contained (no separate parts).
Now the Cons: Heavy, Need a little bit of muscle to set up, Does not break down small enough making it hard to transport.
Summary: Professional look and feel. Does the job well. If you want to make an impression, well this is it. My little trick... I face the speaker towards the screen (on ground level) and when I turn it up, it bounces off the bottom of the screen appearing as if the sound is coming from the bottom of the screen. Only reason for not getting 5 stars is the transport issue and the fact that when stored, it doesn't stand upright. You have to lay it on it's side. However, it's well worth the money and sets you aside from the competition. This is my 5th screen for our business.
