I bought this screen to do presentations and I am very pleased with it. I am a petite woman and this has been easy for me to handle and set up. I like the black border on the sides and the way the legs are designed. Space is not wasted between the wall and the screen. Happy customer

What a great product and the price made it seem like a gift or the greatest bargain ever. I have been recommending this screen to my fellow business owners, Yes it is large, but that's okay. Quality more than makes up for this and it stores nicely.

Works great for slide shows. We set up the screen outside and put on a DVD with the projector and the kids thought it was great to have a movie outside ;o)

I've been looking for a decent quality projection screen to use with my newly purchased LCD projector. Unfortunately, this is not a quality projection screen, It is a flimsy, made in China screen. It's cheap and if you require a screen for infrequent use, then this may do the trick for you. I've actually returned mine due to many issues that I discuss in my review.

If you're not familiar with all the different sized screens out there you might be a little confused by what size screen to get. It's not that difficult to sort out but you need to consider a few factors before you can choose the most appropriate screen. First you must consider how far away you're going to have your LCD projector from the screen. The further away the projector is, the larger your screen will need to be. My projector is best when it's about 6-8 feet from the screen.

Next you must get a screen that is of a similar aspect ratio of your projector. In my case, I have a projector that has a resolution equal to a 4:3 aspect ratio. This is not HD resolution. If you have a HD resolution projector, you'll optimally want a projector that is wider than the height of the screen which can be either 16:9 or 16:10. There are also screens that are 1:1 aspect ratio (height and width are the same). Of course you can use any screen size for any projector, but you'll have un-used screen areas with a mis-matched screen and you won't be able to achieve the largest image on the screen if you don't have the right aspect ratio.

The 84" screen is perfect match for my projector. The screen has good reflectivity and is washable.

The tripod legs are a quite a bit wobbly when setting up the screen and they do not have a locking feature at all. There are two adjustments possible on the screen itself as you're setting it up: the top height of the screen, which is adjusted by loosening/tightening a cylindrical plastic adjuster on the vertical tubing. And the bottom height of the screen which is achieved by unlatching a relatively flimsy looking lever right above the handle. Once you set the height of the top, you then adjust the height of the bottom of the screen.

One feature I appreciate about the screen is that you can snug the screen right up close to a wall if you wish by rotating the screen/handle once it's been opened. That enables you to either have the screen almost flush against a wall or have the rear leg pointing straight behind the screen and having minimal leg in front of the screen to make it less likely someone will trip on the extended legs. The stand also has a keystone adjustment which could be useful if your projector is unable to adequately correct for that.

Realistically I think this screen is about as good as it could be for the price, which is to say, not that good at all. If you're looking for a more robust, better made screen you'll end up spending quite a bit more. In my case, I paid about 70 bucks more for a Da-Lite screen which is made in the USA in Indiana. For frequent use, that extra money may be well spent.

A serious issue I have with the screen other than the flimsy lever is the fact that my screen had an appreciable series of horizontal, full-width ridges caused by the wrapping of the screen around the case cylinder. You can imagine that as the first edge of the screen is inserted into the cylinder that each subsequent wrap of the screen around the cylinder will have a slight bump as it goes over that insertion point. This is causing increasingly wider lines from bottom to the top of the screen as can be seen in the photo I uplodad in the user photos area.

I've called Elite Screens about this and they claim those lines will go away after the screen has been left open for several days. That has not been my experience however. My screen has been open for over a week now and the lines have not diminished at all. And the 2-year warranty that sounds good on paper is not all that great when you take into consideration that the customer must bear the brunt of paying return shipping to Elite Screens. That is not acceptable. Why should the customer have to pay to return something that is defective? In fact, I've returned the screen to Amazon and Amazon has provided a UPS shipping label at no cost, something that would not have happened with Elite Screens directly.

Once again, Amazon has pulled through, even better than the actual company that manufactures the screen!

The screen seems a great value but the flimsy construction and poor return policy make it not nearly as good a deal as you think. The screen is made in China and is cheap and flimsy. A much better alternative, and what I've just received to replace the Elite Screen I'm returning is the Da-Lite 84IN Picture King 50X67 Matte Wht 4:3 Video Tripod Screen. It is USA made and is much heavier duty, locking tripod legs that can be operated with your foot, and a much more substantial screen locking mechanism. You get what you pay for.

Ok, I did my research of Elite screens .This item is not 4:3 ,it 1:1 at 80 inch x 80inch view size.

The Elite Screens Tripod 4:3 comes in these sizes only:
84" diagonal -50 x 67 view size
100" diagonal-60 x 80
120" diagonal-72 x 96
While the 1:1 comes in measurement of diagonal from 71,85,99,113 and 136.
The casing for 1:1 comes in white or black but I dont know if Amazon has that option to choose.However the 4:3 casing is Black only.The Screen material is MaxWhite at 1:1 Gain.
Depending on size it weighs, from 15 to 41 lbs.This 113 is 26.8 lbs.

Product is as advertised. Great value for the money. easy to carry and store for its size.

I wish I had gotten a widescreen aspect screen though, as there is a lot of "white" at the top and bottom of the image. I use it primarily with movies and PC.

When I bought my projector, I sought out a high quality 16:9 screen for home theater purposes. While this screen is a fairly good deal for it's size (100 inches) and aspect ratio (most of the cheap screens only provide 1:1 or 4:3), there is much to be desired in the realm of "portability", or lack thereof, that this screen advertises in it's name. The entire unit is rather bulky and hard to handle, but at 87 inches long (over 7 feet) and 33 lbs, what can one expect?

While I like this screen, and bought it for home theater use, I would/could not use it for portable presentations, and would be interested to hear how your average presenter could (try taking this with you on a crowded subway without knocking anyone down). The tripod legs do not stay folded too well when you attempt to carry the screen, and it is hard to maneuver due to it's bulk (even when folded).

Again, this screen did exactly what I wanted, and I think it is a great alternative for someone who wants a home theater screen within their house. Just pay special attention to the dimensions and weight. I would recommend this for anyone who wants a high quality affordable screen, and who is not all too concerned with portability and/or adjustability.

As a DJ and wanting to broaden the service I provide to customers, I am now able to do slide shows, and video's on the Portable Projector Screen during the event. It is easy to set up, compact enough to carry and store and has a very professional looks. Thank you.

This is a very functional piece of equipment. I have been using it for over 6 weeks and it has never given any difficulty.

This screen is perfect especially since it comes with a built in tripod, which we found with our other screen did not. It's a tad bulky to take away from home but it is doable. I take my screen and my projector anytime I go out of town because it's all so portable and theres nothing like being ready for an instant movie night no matter where we are...it's GREAT! Can't go wrong with this screen.
