I bought this to "house" a new puppy inside while I was at work, returning at noon to check up on him. I arrayed the pen in a 2'x6' shape, secured a poly-tarp with nylon ties as a tub-floor, and added 2" of clean, white wood shavings. For a small-breed puppy, I didn't need the 36" high model, but the pen is sturdy enough to lean on to reach in to retrieve toys and, with some effort, clean new clumps of chips and poo. Unlike some pen models, this one has an actual door rather than a panel that works as a gate. The difference is that a door leaves a cross-support ("header") at the top to maintain the shape of the pen while a gate design leaves panels unsupported at the open end. The "cost" of the door design is that you can't enter the pen for maintenance without crawling in, unless you are agile with great reach. This seller is reliable and fair -- the whole transaction from purchase to delivery had no surprises.
Yikes, a respondent noted that my comment on the door design is misguided, and I agree. I HAD THE PEN UPSIDE DOWN WHEN OPENING!! DOH! This is actually quite embarassing to a DIY master, and I greatly appreciate the correction! I'm glad I rated it 5-stars regardless of my gaff.
