I bought the 36", though there are several hieghts to choose from. This x-pen is made with a nice heavy gauge wire, very well built and sturdy. Though not in the description, it comes with a door built in to one of the panels.

These pens are great for camping. We now have 3 of these that we hook together for a nice large space for our 5 dogs when we camp. Just set them up under some shade, and instant yard for the dogs! No need to mess with them getting tangled with leashes or rope.

I ordered this for temporary housing of pygmy goats at shows and find the quality is good. It folds easily and has a nice carrying handle for portabilty. As with any free-standing pen, a larger animal who can get it's hooves/paws anywhere near the top can jump on it and knock it over. The stakes that come with it might solve that problem depending on the soil they are in. I only have one goat who does that and I tie him up separately. We take out the bar that removes to be able to combine this with other pens and use 2 double sided spring clips to fasten it, because we need to be able to get in and out. After I received this and saw how nice it was for that price, I immediately ordered another.

I bought this to "house" a new puppy inside while I was at work, returning at noon to check up on him. I arrayed the pen in a 2'x6' shape, secured a poly-tarp with nylon ties as a tub-floor, and added 2" of clean, white wood shavings. For a small-breed puppy, I didn't need the 36" high model, but the pen is sturdy enough to lean on to reach in to retrieve toys and, with some effort, clean new clumps of chips and poo. Unlike some pen models, this one has an actual door rather than a panel that works as a gate. The difference is that a door leaves a cross-support ("header") at the top to maintain the shape of the pen while a gate design leaves panels unsupported at the open end. The "cost" of the door design is that you can't enter the pen for maintenance without crawling in, unless you are agile with great reach. This seller is reliable and fair -- the whole transaction from purchase to delivery had no surprises.

Yikes, a respondent noted that my comment on the door design is misguided, and I agree. I HAD THE PEN UPSIDE DOWN WHEN OPENING!! DOH! This is actually quite embarassing to a DIY master, and I greatly appreciate the correction! I'm glad I rated it 5-stars regardless of my gaff.
