I love the soft scent of Red Door. This is a great product to wear if you work with the public. The scent lasts all day. I am always receiving comments on my fragrence.

My mother has been wearing Red Door for years. Decades? Anyway, to me, the smell of Red Door reminds me of my mother and all of the good things that go along with that. This is one of those fabulous scents that can become a part of the fabric of your life. I associate the smell with holidays, birthdays and maybe even a night out at the casino. It's demure, it's soft, but it also has an underlying allure that is sure to please.

As a retired military spouse, my mother has been buying the 3.3 ounce eau de toilette at the BX (Base Exchange) for around $30, and I understand that was often a good value for this fragrance in that volume. What a coup it seemed to find it here on Amazon for just over $23.00 and eligible for Prime shipping! I was able to purchase a bottle as a last minute birthday gift for my mother and have it on her doorstep within 2 business days.

What makes this such an outstanding deal is the ability to get free shipping. Because Amazon ships it from their warehouse it can be combined with Super Saver Shipping, though you'll need to add something else to your order to get to the $25 minimum threshold. Fragrance is a peculiar thing. I have lots of different scents that I wear. Personally, I think Red Door is okay, but not one of my top ten. However, EVERYTIME I wear it, I get loads of compliments, especially from men, who not only tell me it smells nice, but want to know what it is (I guess so they can go buy it for their special someone). Because the compliments are somewhat baffling to me (since I'm not super crazy about the fragrance myself), I once asked a friend to describe it (without me telling her what it was). She said it smelled like baby powder but with floral notes added on, very pleasant.

I bought this for my s.o. because I simply loved the scent.
Since it's been around a while, it gets an unfair knock as fragrance for old ladies, although I do think lots of older women wear it. To me, anything that has a powdery scent reminds me of an old ladies. This fragrance has ultra-feminine sweet, floral scent without being over-powering. It is subtle, complex, and long lasting. It is not for younger women who gravitate toward sweeter, citrusy smell. At $25 - 30 a bottle for 3.3 oz EDT, I think it's a terrific value.
Cheap priced but definitely not cheap smelling. A classic, 5 star.

This is a very classic, feminine fragrance. My husband and I both fell in love with it. Most perfumes do not last on me but this one does last longer than others on me.

I have been using this fragrance for several years now and I love it. Red Door by Elizabeth Arden and White Diamonds by Elizabeth Taylor are my two favorite colognes. I have to disagree with the negative comment on this product. I don't feel that it is strong-scented at all. But of course with colognes and perfumes "a little goes a long way." Any cologne that is "applied too liberally" will be strong and overpowering in my opinion.

Bought for my mother, who absolutely loves this smell...this is all she will wear and has been wearing it for years!

I just love Red Door.. People walk by me and stop.. Who smells so wonderful? I always ssay.. I DO..I DO.. They get closer and say,, yes it's YOU.. Well, it's Red Door, but I own it.. It's like surrounding yourself in a flowering Garden.. Some scents are meant just for you.. This is one for me...

I myself do not wear red door but my mother loves it. it's the only fragrance that she will put on. i had a good first experience with amazon finding and purchasing exactly what i wanted. ty.....

I am very happy with this product. It is the only cologne that I wear. the price was very reasonable and I received it in 2 day after purchase. I will pruchase again.
