Book Description

Observation in the Flights of Avious Saga November 20, 2001
Trisha Maypierce is a chemist and a dreamer. Her wildest fantasies are about to come true when she stumbles into the travels of a Temporal Anthropologist, and flies across time and space to the tempestious world of Avious. Two factions of winged beings, the native and techonologicaly advanced Asillomar and the genetically engineered but transplated race Trimor have hammered a tentative peace. Is Trisha the catalyst to unite the two races, or the element of destruction? Chemical know-how and earth values play an exciting role in this snapshot moment of an alien worlds history. This is the first of many tales of this enticing and ancient world.

5.0 out of 5 stars Elizabeth I - a fantastic journey to Avious, January 29, 2002
By
Barbara Urban (Villa Hills, KY United States) - See all my reviews
This review is from: Elizabeth 1: The Observation (Observation in the Flights of Avious Saga) (Paperback)
Elizabeth I: The Observation is an incredibly inventive and exhilarating tale of a modern day chemist (Trisha) and her coworker, Professor Esmentaur, who find themselves journeying to another world, called Avious. On Avious, they find a civilization in peril, and encounter many adventures along the way. In the midst of the conflict of Avious, Trisha and Professor Esmentaur also begin to discover something about themselves, but that will be left for you, the reader, to discover. Ms. Merin is a tremendously talented author with the unique gift of being able to "create" new worlds in her writing and to take the reader along with her. This novel is a very fast-paced and entertaining journey, and comes with the highest recommendations from me and all who have read it.
