Runs big, February 20, 2010
I've been wanting this top for months ever since I saw it at a Nordstrom's. I just didn't want to pay over a hundred dollars for it. When I saw that it was on sale here on Amazon, I had to have it. Alas, I'm disappointed. I wish I tried it on first at Nordstrom's. I bought it in a Medium and I usually wear size Medium tops. Well, it's way too big. It was literally like a parachute. The fabric is lovely, the straps are nice. The color is pretty. It was just way too big. It made me look at least 20 lbs heavier. Not cute. I suggest you get this top a size smaller than what you usually wear, and even then I think it would still be quite loose. I really like drapey clothes, but this was too much. I also suggest you wear skinny jeans or leggings to balance out the volume on top. It's very voluminous and wearing something baggy on the bottom will make you look very heavy. I have to return it and that really disappoints me.
