To really understand the early struggle of the Seventh-day Adventist Church and the role of Ellen White in its founding you will want to read this six volume set. I have a much greater appreciation for the SDA church now than I ever did earlier. This set describes the story behind each book that E G White wrote, and she wrote many, as well as how these books helped bring the church to where it is today. These books should be required reading for every member of the Adventist church as well as every critic. This set was well written by her grandson Arthur White who knew her at an early age.
