Elmer Batters does not create fancy, elaborate sets for his models, nor are his models particularly good looking. However, he does know how to pose them (not sexually graphic) to get the best angle on their feet and legs, and from that level his work is honest, straightforward, and very well done. If your fetish runs in this direction, this book (and all the Elmer books) are must-haves.

'The Carushka Sittings' is a refreshing change from all the contemporary leg fetish resources; Elmer Batters was photographer of great skill and unique vision who realised that the conventional ideal that 'long slender legs are the only beautiful legs' was not shared by everyone.
For leg and stocking fans who appreciate full calves, thighs and hips, this is the only book on the market for you. There are even some shots of the full-bodied model in pantyhose -perhaps taschen will get their act together and compile a 'Taschen Book of Tights' to capitalise on the huge popularity of pantyhose. But for now, this is one of the only books around that the devotee of full-bodied women in hose need buy. A classic, only let down by the small number of tights pictures.

You just don't see women photographed like this anymore. Skinny girls are alright and I'm sure some of them are very nice, but I pine for the days when women looked like women.

The book came in at an 3"X5" size. One needs`a magnifying glass to savor the photos. Of the photos I can see, typical Batters style, always good

If you like the short stocky fat legs, buy this one. If you like stamp size book, buy this one. If you one woman man, buy this one. Otherwise, save your money, buy other real legs book.
