I used this product to loosen a sticky plastic zipper on my screen house. The zipper was sticking and separating. After lubrication it operates as smooth as silk.

5.0 out of 5 stars Great Stuff!, July 18, 2011

This product works very well for a number of different applications. I have used it instead of WD-40 on squeaky car and house doors--no oily stains. It is also useful for freeing sticky sliding windows. It "loosens up" and lubricates weathered padlocks and I know jewelers who use it for helping to unkink small necklace chains. No odors, no stains...as I said, it's great stuff.

I have used this spray for over 5 years to lubricate door and window locks hinges and locks in several seaside homes. It goes on easily and cleanly (not so for graphite based lubricants), and is nearly invisible once it dries. Although the cans look small, they last and last. The products also keeps out rust , which is a real problem for shore houses.

This product works as advertised. I've used it on a variety of zippers including duffel bags, boat canvas, camera bag, pants, jackets and my sleeping bag to name a few. Worked great in all applications. Simply spray it on the zipper and then slide the zipper back and forth to work the lubricant in. The zipper literally glides open and closed and there is no residue. The result is quite dramatic...even on news zippers.

I used this on an industrial metal door that was always stuck because the metal was rubbing against the frame so badly. I sprayed the door and frame really well with this product and couldn't believe how much easier it was to open and close the door--could do it with one hand instead of having to use both hands and pull with my whole body! Highly recommend this product, but it is not recommended for door locks.

5.0 out of 5 stars Nice!, February 17, 2012
This review is from: Elmer's E450 Slide-All Dry Spray Lubricant 4-Ounce (Tools & Home Improvement)
I got this stuff to use on my Mountain Bike and workout equipment I have. I liked the description because it had no odor, it isn't oily and it dries invisible! I just used it on a very expensive Mountain Biking rain jacket zipper which was "sticky". After using this product on it, it glided up and down with ease.
