Yeah me too ;-/ Too bad the can description doesn't give a clue as to why this is not supposed to be used on the materials you would be expecting to use it on !

Any that gets on your hands, doesn't wash off easy with warm sudsy water, your hand remains sticky.

I wanted an adhesive for sharpening with "scary sharp". This is the goofy name given to the concept of gluing sand paper to something very flat and sharpening tools with it. A lot of adhesives are too strong and you spend all day trying to get the glue and paper off your surface. Not this stuff. Peel the paper off, wipe the surface down with mineral spirits, then a little water and you are done. I have never had the paper slide while sharpening. Even if the paper is very curled, I use a roll of duct tape to press it down and it stays very flat. Incidentally, I use 12"x12" marble tiles from a box store for my flat surfaces. I put a drawer liner under them so there isn't much chance of them conforming to the surface beneath. They are cheap but you need to go in with a ruler and feeler gauge to make sure you get a flat one. I went through about 35 to find 3 flat ones.

After that success. I tried using it for a few other things. I use a few different blocks of wood for sand blocks. Put some of this glue on the blocks and the sandpaper won't slide off anymore, but can be easily replaced if it wears out. My wife is a big crafter and she has been thieving this glue from me as well.

Good product!

Some of the reviews here are for a different product, namely "repositionable spray glue" This product is NOT repositionable. It is however, very good at what it does... which is stick well. You have an option of what they call a "permanent" bond by joining the pieces together within 15-30 seconds, and a "temporary" bond that is formed by joining them together a bit later.

In my experience, the temporary bond holds quite well also, but is just a bit easier to peel back apart.

Be aware, that there is a LOT of overspray, and you might not even notice it till later when suddenly you detect that your table is sticky... you will have to clean that up with turpentine. So your bet bet is to use it outdoors, or with at least 30 inches of paper surrounding the item, because the overspray travels quite far. Another option that worked for me is to place the object in a cardboard box and spray it in there.

Used it to hold stencils in place - the "stickiness" lasted just twice. I had hoped that I would get several repeats out of one application, as I had thirteen stair risers to stencil. Have more stenciling to do and I will continue to use it, though. Better than tape.

While this is a repositionable spray, I'd expect it to have a bit more "stick." After spraying my project, it lost its stickiness rather quickly. Spend a few extra dollars and get the "SLICE" for a phenomenal product!

This glue was exactly what I wanted. It came out of the can smoothly, not lumpy like some other adhesives I tried. It gave me time to reposition my piece, and the adhesion was strong and smooth. The price was reasonable and shipping was fast.

This spray glue is super sticky and remains tacky even when dry. It also tends to get on everything around it when sprayed so I recommend only using it outside on newspaper!

I could only find one other repositionable spray and it was more money and a name I was not familiar with. This glue was perfect for my fathead which had lost its stickiness. Item also shipped quickly. Would buy again if needed. Thanks!
