Totally love this stuff, but I think it has the wrong name. "Sticky Note on a Stick" might be a better description. It's great for making your own sticky notes out of any paper you have on hand. While it claims to be for pictures and posters, my own experiences make me think it's best for lightweight paper. I used it in an office to put up a 6'x8' mural printed on multiple sheets of printer paper, and it worked like a charm. A few sheets did fall off overnight, but I re-glued them and stuck them back up. There was some 'rinse and repeat,' but by the fourth day everything stuck. The mural stayed up for about six months until my office moved.

I bought this glue stick for the purpose of posting easel sized charts around the classroom and moving them around when needed. Works very well & has not lost it's stick in 70 school days so far...

The bond is shockingly poor. Tried to bond paper to cardboard and the paper just falls off after a few minutes.

I also tried Scotch 6314CRAFT 0.49-Ounce Glue Sticks which I found to give a much more satisfactory bond.

I have been using Elmer's products for years, and they have all been superb. Then I got this one, and I have changed my mind. I carefully followed the directions three times, and every time, my posters fell down instantly when I stopped holding them. I don't know if I got a bad tube or if this product truly is no good. Fortunately, it works okay to paste things into my cookbook, so I didn't entirely waste the money, but I am still looking for a way to hang my new posters and am very displeased with the product.

Doesn't stick to anything, except the paper you smear it on. I got this in desperation when I ran out of the Scotch glue stick and this was all the local store had. It was returned the same day.

If you follow their instructions for "repositional" then you will have a piece of paper with dried glue on one side. If you glue the paper while the glue is wet, it will fall apart within minutes as the glue dries.

I usually avoid Elmers glue products and this one has re-enforced my opinion.
