This glue, it sticks like nobody's business! And there's a gallon of it! Take my advice, however: don't mistake the carton for milk.

Elmer's Glue works; what more can be said. I purchased this for my students to use with their English projects. I have yet to hear a complaint. When the small bottles run dry, I just fill them back up. Life is good.

5.0 out of 5 stars It is a Gallon of Glue, October 7, 2011

There is a gallon of glue that is just like the little bottles that you buy in the store. Now you can refill rather than buy all over again.

I purchased a gallon jug of this glue because my two granddaughters were visiting for a week. As a former teacher, I had craft plans! I knew that to find a "teacher" store in my area would be difficult, and with the amount of glue I needed, it was not cost effective to purchase MANY small, school bottles. I figure you can never have too much glue on hand. We spent hours with a bowl of glue mixed with some water, strips of newsprint paper and two little girls with vivid imaginations. Using glue for paper mache may be a bit more costly than flour and water, but it dries so well, and it is not likely to mold or "smell" as time goes by. One more reason for purchasing such a large quantity of glue . . . Flubber! If you haven't heard of it, please find it on the "web" and let the children and adults in your life have some fun with chemistry!

...at a price much better than at any stores near me. If you're doing a project like making papier-māché where you need a lot of glue, this is what you need.

5.0 out of 5 stars Burden's milk cow, April 4, 2010
This review is from: Elmer's Washable School Glue, 1 Gallon (E340) (Office Product)
A lot of people get the Borden milk cow (Borden's milk is Elsie the Cow, created in the 1930's) confused with the Elmer's School Glue Cow, which is actually a bull (Elmer's Glue is Elmer the bull). It turns out that they're married. Also, the Borden Company is the same company responsible for both Borden's milk and Elmer's Glue.

Borden introduced for the first time to the general public a white Cascorez Glue, which was later changed to Elmer's Glue-All after Elmer.

Their offspring included Beulah, Beauregard (born 1949), and twins Lobelia and Larabee (born 1959).

So, the Borden Company is the same company responsible for Elmer's Glue.

Anyone thinking this is milk, it's not, it's School Glue, 1 Gallon.
