My two years old son reads this book every day. Each page has one theme. My son loves to use his interpretation and imagination to describe what the sesame street muppets are doing and talking about to each other. After my friends read this book, they all ask me to order it for them. Now I have ordered four more for them.

This book recalled the days when I watched "Sesame Street" as a little girl. I am very pleased to share the fun, educational experience of "Sesame Street" characters with my son. For everyone who loves Elmo, Grover, Big Bird, etc., this is a must-read!

Worth the money. Teach your baby with YOUR pleasure - he/she will be delighted.

Not all of Sesame Str. books are so great as this one (e.g. I warn you: do NOT buy "Tickle me Elmo"). You and your kid will be delighted uncovering things (I discover the clown's toothpaste after two weeks...)

This has been my son's favorite book. I have to buy it again because he played with it so much that it's a little bit wrecked. It's perfect for little ones and toddlers. He started enjoying the book before he turned one.

Very exciting to baby. My son has loved this book since about one month old. Now my son is two years old and this book has worn down with his hood and drool. Although this book is still his most favorite.

I bought this book (let's call it 'A') and "Elmo's Big Lift and Look Book" (and this one we'll call 'B') Both are relatively the same -- the same size and both lift the flap books. Looking at both, you can tell that the 'A' book was created first, and then the 'B' book was created with lots of improvements. The B book has better structure; it has numbers, letters, shapes, and opposites, all very well done and engaging for a little one. My 22 month old loves looking under the alphabet block flaps over and over again. With the 'A' book, you have numbers, and opposites, but then the other pages are just for entertainment, lifting the flaps to see animals in windows, or finding some matching objects. It's not as educational.

All in all, "Elmo's Big Lift and Look Book" is all you need. You can easily skip this one. And sure enough, it seems like this book is no longer printed. I got mine used, which was a good investment for how little I paid for it.

This is one of the better Elmo books out there. It is a lift flap book with lots of flaps for little ones to open and explore. My 21 month old twin boys love it, they look at it repeatedly every day and it has stood up to their rough page turning and flap opening. The pictures are cute and it teaches children lots of new words. I definitely recommend adding this Elmo book to your library!

This is one of my sons' ( twin 1 year olds) favourite books... there's lots of different flaps, some with numbers (1 grouch,3 kittens napping, etc),some with different activities to go along with them (trying to match two of the same objects), and a page about opposites ( my sons are a bit too young for that part, but hopefully it will keep them interested in the book as they grow)
...it is a pretty large book, but they seem to handle it ok.
I would definitely recommend it

My son loves books, this one is fun because he can look at whats under the flaps and learn to count,find things that match and find opposites. He plays awhile looking at this, he received this when he was 2 years old and now he is 4 years old.
