I think some of these parents that wrote these previous reviews need to lighten up! Disappointed because a Elmo video did not give you any good ideas on planning a birthday party??? (Did you also get the one on hair to see if you could get some ideas on a new hairstyle?) The bottom line is Elmo is adorable and my son LOVES these videos and wants to watch them again and again. ...and he is learning about all kinds of things throughout the series. YES! it is the same Elmo's World that we have all seen on Sesame St., that is why it is titled "Elmo's World"!! Why are you even surprised? I recommend these videos for TODDLERS highly. Someone mentioned that they find Mr. Noodle annoying. He is trying to entertain your child, not you! ... as Elmo would say "silly parent!"

This video is by far my daughter's favorite Elmo video...I am not sure why - but the birthday segment really taught her how to blow out the candles on her birthday cake and the segment with Mr. Noodle wrapping a present had her wrapping everything in sight .."Tape, Mama, TAPE!"...she also learned how to play Simon Says from this video and Tag.....she loves the part where the kids play.....
I think it is a good video as any from the Elmo series....

My daughter is an Elmo (and Sesame Street) fanatic. She loves to watch this video and the others in the "Elmo's World" series over and over again. This video is great for Elmo fans. It only contains the Elmo's World segments from the tv show (3) and they are all one right after the other on the video. For kids who can't sit through Sesame Street long enough to get to Elmo's World, this tape is a must-have (along with the other Elmo's World tapes).

This Elmo's World video lives up to my expectations. My 10mo. old loves anything elmo, especially the Elmo's World videos. The format is the same as in the past videos, three segments all dealing with interesting and educational topics. I love these, because I know he is learning the whole time he is watching it. (And we watch it over and over again!)

My almost 2 year old loves Elmo's world and this is one of her favorites. The video has Birthdays, Games, and Pets ( all from this season of Sesame Street). My daughter will sit glued to the TV for Elmo, which helps me get a bit of peace to get things done without my "little helper". Best part of the video are "Birthdays" where you get to see baby Elmo (my daughter loves that part) and a great explanation of what birthdays are. In the "Games" episode you get Mr. Noodle AND Mr Noodles brother Mr. Noodle together to skip rope (heaven for my daughter - she loves the Mr. Noodle segments). This one is a must for all Elmo fans. My one complaint is that I noticed that the birthday episode has been edited... you don't hear the traditional b-day song Elmo sings to Dorothy as you would see it on regular TV. That is why I subtracted a star.

I ordered this one with three others and this one came with a region limitation. I was told i would get a refund which i have not seen. I really just wanted the video playable in the USA but they did not have it in stock. I stopped ordering from the company and found another i am a lot more please with at this time.

I bought this for my 18 month old Grandson. He absolutely loves it and
gets extremely excited when we he hears the opening music. It's very educational and lots of humor that even the adults will enjoy.

Great for kids who are Elmo crazy. Buy it before the birthday to get a little one ramped up for the festivities.

Only giving it 4 stars because there is not that much birthday related scenes. I bought it because my son is obsessed with birthdays - they don't even sing the traditional Happy Birthday Song!! But my son still looooooves this DVD and entertains him greatly. Very fun DVD - even with the little birthday scenes.

Elmo is very funny. Baby loves it and I have to say that Elmo character makes some comments and jokes that only an adult would understand. I find him very entertaining compared to Barney and Tellitubies. I would pick watching Elmo anyday over the other children DVDs.
