Fun and colorful Elmo book to teach the basics
My daughter LOVES anything Elmo, and we've found that she learns so much from reading and watching this furry red monster in his day to day activities. GETTING DRESSED! presents cute and colorful pages of Elmo in various stages of dressing himself. It's cute My son likes it but not our favorite....
This book is OK, yes it does teach a bit about getting dressed but in a boring way -- it's written in the same tone as Elmo's world the show i.e. Elmo says this....what do you say? (speaking in the 3rd person). My son enjoys it but it's not our favorite. It is colorful and has pictures of children which I think may be his favorite part.

My daughter LOVES anything Elmo, and we've found that she learns so much from reading and watching this furry red monster in his day to day activities. GETTING DRESSED! presents cute and colorful pages of Elmo in various stages of dressing himself. It also shows the clothing appropriate for different seasons, i.e. snow boots in winter and bathing suit in summer. Our child loves to point to all the clothes and mention their names, colors, and where they belong on the body. The wording is very familiar if you watch ELMO'S WORLD on Sesame Street, and since there are no flaps like in some of the other Elmo's World board books, you won't have to worry about your little one ripping the doors off. Lift the flap books are not our favorite, so we were glad this one didn't have them. Add this to your child's book collection and it will soon become a favorite.

Bought this for our daughter for her first birthday...now 2yrs and she loves this book...and great that it is a board book!!!
