I purchased this book for my daughters for Christmas. They had just seen the movie in November, and they loved it so much I just had to get them the book. I chose this one instead of the original by Kay Thompson because I wanted my precocious (almost) three-year-old to be able to enjoy it, as well as my seven-year-old. The book was a big hit, with tons of pictures from the movie and a very readable overview of the film. As with most books that are taken from a film, it does vary slightly from what really happened on screen, (hence the four stars), but it is close enough to delight my little girls. All in all, it is an adorable book and any girl will love it!
