Birthday Cake Hat

This hat was to be used as a gimmick for a co-worker's birthday party. The plan was to put it on and sit on the floor between two tables with a table cloth covering the gap. Essentially, the hat would stick up through a hole in the table covering and then we'd scare the crap out of the co-worker by jumping up and out of the table at her.

Well, that was a great idea, except she's not too bright and can't see well. Sally is in her 50s and wears glasses, so we figured that she wouldn't notice the hat wasn't a real cake until it was too late and we could scare her. Little did we know that she was HUNGRY and wanted at that cake badder than Ozzy wanted to eat a bat's head.

Sally, knife in hand, practically dove on the cake to try and get a piece of what she though would be yummy, moist, chocolate and what eved up being Darren, our mail room clerk.

It took her more than 15 seconds to realize that we were screaming "STOP" and not some sort of congratulations.

So with that in mind, the hat is good, but be care if you use it for a prank! Darren got 32 stitches and it looks like he'll be ok!

Hat was as described - a lot of stuff like this is cheap and cheezy but this was sturdy, made of nice fabric and does look just like the photo. I plan to wear it EVERYWHERE!!! (LOL)

This is a really fun item. Children & adults both can use it & it makes the occasion more festive plus garnering more that a few laughs!!
