I bought these glasses for my son (who LOVES glasses). He likes wearing all types of glasses--though he doesn't need them to see. I bought these because they have clear lenses and they looked sturdy. And in fact, they are pretty durable. My son was just 4 when I bought these for him--and believe me, he did drop these several times. I had to super glue the tape (in the middle) down, because it was about to come off. My son looks so adorable and cute in these glasses. They fit so well--though they would probably fit an older child too, as they fit on my face and I am female (age 34). I have bought these glasses twice. The first pair finally met it's match at the grocery store when my son dropped them on the floor there. I would buy these again and recommend them to anyone who loves Harry Potter, or for a child who likes wearing glasses.
