This was just what I was looking for. This was for a child that my wife and I found out was not going to have anything from Santa Claus at Christmas. The family had lost their wife and mother and the father was struggling to pay the bills and keep food on the table. There were two children, a little girl and a boy, who was 05 yrs old. My wife, one of our daughters, and myself found out their needs and made sure they received before Santa was scheduled to arrive. We did not get to witness Christmas morning with the children, my wife and I really did not know the family personally. But, our daughter told us later when the packages were opened the father broke down and cried. The children were as thrilled & excited as all the other children were on Christmas morning.The cowboy hat didn't cost much for us but it gave us one of the joyous thrills we have ever received for Chrismas. It gave us new meaning to the age old phrase "IT'S BETTER TO GIVE THAN TO RECEIVE". |
