I purchased two of these for my three year old twin boys. I found that the glasses were a bit too tight for both of their heads and as a result they did not want to wear them. Eventually one of the pair snapped. They are really adorable, and my kids are a little rough on their things, so maybe they will work out for someone else.

Although my 6-year-old looked adorable in these glasses and the quidditch robes, they broke the third time he took them off his face. We tried to repair them with super glue, but they kept breaking (in different spots around the glue).

I bought these glasses for my son (who LOVES glasses). He likes wearing all types of glasses--though he doesn't need them to see. I bought these because they have clear lenses and they looked sturdy. And in fact, they are pretty durable. My son was just 4 when I bought these for him--and believe me, he did drop these several times. I had to super glue the tape (in the middle) down, because it was about to come off. My son looks so adorable and cute in these glasses. They fit so well--though they would probably fit an older child too, as they fit on my face and I am female (age 34). I have bought these glasses twice. The first pair finally met it's match at the grocery store when my son dropped them on the floor there. I would buy these again and recommend them to anyone who loves Harry Potter, or for a child who likes wearing glasses.

These glasses are a waste of money. They are sized to fit a child but not made to be handled by one. My 5yo child had them out of the package for no more than 30 seconds when one of the temple pieces broke at the hinge. While trying to repair them with superglue the other temple broke at the same location. They are made poorly and I wouldn't bother.

I got these as a Christmas present for my nephew that is mad about Harry Potter. He immediately put these glasses on as soon as he opened them and went around showing everyone how cool he looked. I couldn't believe how nuts he was over them. Kids will love these glasses!

Bought for a 4-year old as a toy. It looked great and fit great, but broke the first time he played with it. The hinges are made of really cheap/weak plastic.

These glasses broke within a week. My 7 year old was not being rough or hard on them. A very cheap product. Save your money.

I bought these glasses for my 5 year old. My 10 year old daughters were having a Harry Potter birthday party, and he wanted to be Harry. They fit him fine, but they are more on the snug side (as far as the width). I would say he has an average sized head for a 5 year old. We've had them for 3 months, and he's worn them a lot with the robe I made him. They seem to hold up well. They are plastic, though, and will break if forced. They are made of a nice plastic that does give some, but they aren't super pliable. These would be great for a Harry costume. The tape is actual fabric medical tape, so they are very authentic looking. I also bought him the plastic light up wand that makes sound, and he loves it (worth the $5 I paid)! His imagination really runs wild when he's wearing his Harry costume. I would not recommend these glasses for anyone over age 6 unless they have a small head, but what's funny is that the package states they are not for anyone under age 12 or 14 (I can't remember, but it was quite funny). I have a small head and can put them on, but they are very tight on the sides and may break over time from the stress of a larger head. They would probably work just fine for a one time costume for an older child, though.

My 4 year old son wears these glasses nonstop, including to the grocery store, shopping, etc. Its been a couple weeks and they haven't broken! My 20 month old daughter is always stealing them off his face, so I'm very impressed with the durability. The only disappointment is that when my son says "occulus reparo" the tape doesn't come off. :-)

Bought these for my Harry-obsessed 3-year-old. They fit him and my 5-year-old just fine. We just think they are adorable! In our house, the fact that they've lasted an entire weekend is durable enough for me. Very glad I made this purchase.
