Scarf looks and feels great. The only thing is that there is a strange scent to it that I cannot get out. I've washed it, but the scent still remains. Quite strange. But overall.... Go Hufflepuff!!!

The scarf surpasses any notion of it being a toy or costume addition. It can be part of a daily wardrobe and the quality is superb. The lamb's wool is a little scratchy and it has a strange smell but nothing a wash can't fix. The crest and patch are perfect and looks exactly as it should! Definitely made an awesome present for my dear Hufflepuff house member and now I only wish I could find a Ravenclaw one.

Definitely worth the money and it makes me happy knowing someone out there actually put effort into a licensed merchandise item beyond any gimmicky one-time-use idea.

I bought this as a birthday gift for someone.
Wasn't expecting this to be such a great quality scarf!
Aside from the fact that this was made for the Harry Potter franchise..its a great scarf.

The emblem looks good, authentic.
Any Harry Potter fan would be ecstatic to have this!

The scarf picture looks good and it seems like a great buy!

However, upon opening the package the yellow is a darker shade than in the picture and then I notice a dusty smell to the scarf, So I'm trying to air it and out thought about washing it, but the scarf says, "Dry clean only" so Now I have to pay for dry cleaning for I can wear it because dust and Myself don't mix. It would have been nice if the scarf was in storage that the scarf was washed before hand.

Other wise it's nice and I do enjoy it.

I like this product but it was a little over-priced for the quality you get. The fabric was not very pleasant to the touch and some areas seemed to look a little cheap compared to other scarfs I purchased for half this price. It arrived in a decent time. I have a co-worker whom I always tease about being a member of hufflepuff. It's really funny because it ruffles his feathers so much. I saw this on Amazon and had to get it for him because he also wears a lot of clothes in the yellow color present on this scarf. I thought it would be funny to get this for him for Christmas 2011. He even said: "As much as I hate to admit it, I really like this scarf."

I bought this for my girlfriend, who is the staff advisor for the Harry Potter club at her school.

She loves it and we are both pretty pleased with how high the quality is. Being 100% wool was a nice surprise. I thought it was going to be acrylic. The wool does make it a little scratchy because it has been spun but it's still fairly soft and probably will only bother people with extra sensitive skin.

Overall I think it looks great and is a quality scarf. So if you have a friend or family member that loves Harry Potter and is a Hufflepuff, they will probably love it too.

I got this scarf as a Secret Santa present for a friend of mine, and needless to say, she LOVED it! Before ordering I was expecting that this would be one of those cheap scarves that were just a piece of fabric with the image printed onto it that you could get at any party shop, but after reading the other reviews here, I was quite convinced it wasn't, ordered it, and received it with much joy and satisfaction. The wool seems to be quite durable, and mine did not come with any weird stench like others have said. Great item for your Hufflepuff-enthusiast friend/family member.

I love this scarf, it is so not a toy! It os a real scarf, high quality, 100% wool very soft and very warm, but not too warm. Great buy!

I received this scarf for Christmas and could NOT be any happier. This scarf is comfortable, though perhaps a tad scratchy if you're not accustomed to wearing scarves. The colors are fantastic, and I love the crest patch that's on it. The scarf is very long; as far as I can tell it's the same length that you see in the films. I've taken to wearing mine the way that fellow 'puff Cedric Diggory does in 'Goblet of Fire'; the length is much more manageable that way.

Like other reviewers mentioned, there may be an odd scent; I think it was just from the plastic that it is packaged in. It's been just two days and I've had it hanging in the open and the smell already seems to have left. Really, if you're a Hufflepuff, or you know someone who is, this is an amazing and cute gift to show off the house pride. I can't recommend it highly enough :)

this is a great scarf, it looks so legit and yet wearable on a daily basis, i didnt exprience the scent thing most people were talking about. the only thing is i think its really itchy, idk if thats just me but, it could b softer~
