Most Helpful Customer Reviews

2 of 2 people found the following review helpful By Robert Carlberg on March 7, 2008
Format: Audio CD Verified Purchase
This CD is a compilation of his first three releases, the LP "Who Tore Your Trousers?" (1961) plus "Ivor Cutler of Y'Hup" (1959) and "Get Away From The Wall" (1961) -- the two EPs. What is perhaps most remarkable about these earliest recordings is the realization that Mr. Cutler (as he liked to be called) had fully developed his style from the very first session, and he continued essentially unchanged for 48 years until his passing in 2006. It wasn't an act.
